If you are a manager noticing that your employees are often disengaged while working from home, here are some tips to help out with that.
Create a chat tool: Managers should do so with both in-office and remote employees to make sure all employees are up to date with what goes on inside the office. This will promote conversations amongst employees and create efficient communication between those in and out of the office
Allow flexibility: Remote employees who have other commitments, such as children or pets, may require some flexibility in order to stay engaged and avoid burnout.
Offer meaningful work: By being away from the office, remote employees may feel as though they are not excelling in their careers as there are no managers present to observe their work. Delegating new roles to out-of-office employees will help them be engaged by knowing their work matters in the workplace.
